Messaging Terms and Conditions

These terms cover messages from Tripspin, Inc., doing business as Gobi Maps ("Gobi," "we," "us"), sent by text message (SMS) or WhatsApp. They're part of our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
What we send
If you opt in, we'll message you about places and events near you, recommendations, offers, and news about Gobi. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Opting in is not required to use Gobi or to buy anything from us.
Signing up
You can turn on messages in the Gobi app. By opting in, you agree to these terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
How often
How often we message you varies. We try to only send things worth your time and make reasonable efforts not to flood your inbox.
Cost
Gobi doesn't charge for messages. For text messages, message and data rates from your carrier may apply. WhatsApp messages use your internet or data connection, so data charges may apply.
Opting out
Reply STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE at any time, by text or on WhatsApp. We'll stop sending you marketing messages on that channel. You can also turn messages off in the app under Settings > Notifications. To sign back up, turn messages on again in the app.

Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to sign up for messages. You confirm you're the account holder for the phone number you provide, or that the account holder has authorized you to sign up. If you change or give up your number, please opt out or update it in the app.
Delivery
We can't guarantee every message will arrive. Mobile carriers and WhatsApp aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
WhatsApp is a separate service run by Meta. When we message you there, WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of WhatsApp.
Privacy
We don't sell or share your phone number or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Changes
We may update these terms. If you stay opted in after an update, you accept the new terms.
